About Nordmann Fir Christmas Trees

Nordmann Fir Christmas Trees are the most loved festive variety due to their elegant posture, traditional aesthetic, and hardy nature. These trees provide the best needle retention and form a beautifully symmetrical crown, hence their popularity throughout the world.

Our locally grown Nordmann Firs are sourced from our friends in the Hills of Stirlingshire and each is cut by hand after being assessed for health, height, and quality. The forestry experts we work with invest in the future of sustainable forests. They are trialing new tree species as well as experimental planting patterns to adapt to the changing climate so that Scotland’s natural landscapes can continue to flourish for Christmases to come.

We recycle Christmas trees by chipping and spreading the returned wood into an area of the forest that is being re-wilded. By doing this, the tree’s nutrients can to return the soil to encourage the growth of biodiversity and the regeneration of natural landscapes.

We were the first Christmas tree seller in Scotland to offer ‘zero emissions’ electric bicycle delivery - something we are still very excited about. You can also collect your tree from our coffee shop in the Meadows, Edinburgh.
